What Are Some of Your Favorite Etsy Shops?

One of my Have Fun Do Good resolutions this year is to either make gifts, buy them from local businesses, or purchase from creative entrepreneurs (who may, or may not be local). I'd love to buy more handmade gifts from Etsy artists.

The only Etsy shop I'm really familiar with is the Cakespy Shop because I read the Cakespy blog. Although I get a kick out of anthropomorphized cupcakes, not everyone shares my love of food with faces on it! (I also like Saxton Freymann's food sculptures).

What Etsy shops do you love to browse and buy from? Let me know in the comments, on Twitter, or on Facebook.

Thanks!

Oh, I love, love, love Etsy. We got our Ringbearer's pillow from a woman with a shop on Etsy--and she was great, and the pillow was fantastic. I continue to share Etsy with friends and family as the products there are filled with heart and creativity. So glad you highlighted it for other people to enjoy!

It's such a fun "place" isn't it? I've loved seeing the shops people have recommended. What shop did you get your ring bearer pillow from?

This little shop is a great source for gifts when your recipient already has everything. I put one of her trash bags in my car almost 2 years ago, and it still looks & works great.

hi britt, i'm not sure if you can go to my page. my username on etsy is windflowerz. you can hit my favorites tab and see some that i have there. mostly those are people whose blogs i read and a couple of people i know. i'm sure there are tons of shops out there that i am unaware of that sell awesome things. i bought several things from etsy this year as christmas gifts: a guitar strap for dan, a cool purse for tashi made from an old nancy drew book, a grandpa shirt for dan's dad, etc.

Thanks for the link, Belinda!

Zoe - When I search for windflowerz, nothing comes up on Etsy. Can you send me the URL of your page? You have to make your favorites public, so I can see them. Here is my Etsy profile

I have a friend who makes the most beautiful things - dioramas, magnets, some jewelry, little decorative items...

Mel Older is one of my favourite potters on Etsy. Wonderful work and a really nice person to boot :)
