After I posted the list of Changebloggers on Friday, Tim Zimmermann of Change/Wire wrote and suggested,
"What about creating a Facebook Changeblogger group which would be open to Changebloggers? It could be a place where we could share info, links, news and tips."
So, I started a Changebloggers Facebook Group so folks have a place to connect, share resources, support each other and arrange online or face-to-face meetups.
It will be fun to see what happens!

What a great idea! We just created a Facebook page for 2 Wheels 4 Water. Maybe you could offer some suggestions for getting more "fans"? Keep up the great work!

ReplyDeleteOne hint would be when you leave a comment on a blog, make sure it describes what 2 Wheels 4 Water is and links to the FB group. Something like, "We just created a Facebook page for 2 Wheels 4 Water to spread our message: Save Gas. End Thirst. Every mile driven on a moped costs just 3.5 cents. Every mile in a typical car costs about 17.5 cents. We’re asking folks to pledge the difference: 14 cents for every mile we cover: 2 Wheels 4 Water
I'd also recommend that you write about your experience before, during and after your event on a blog outside of Facebook as well.
