What Do Good Books Did You Read in 2010?

Each year I post a list of my favorite Have Fun Do Good Books for the year (even if they weren't actually published in that year).  As I'm beginning to draft my list for 2010, I would love to know what do good books you read and loved in 2010.

I'm always looking for good book suggestions, plus, I have to pick the next book for my "social changey" book club to read in December, and am looking for ideas.  I've listed some of the books I'm considering below (I haven't read them yet). Please let me know if you'd recommend any of them for my book club.

        I highly recommend Heart of Dryness! The author, James Workman, artfully weaves anthropology, natural history, conservation and global politics into a compelling narrative. Another beautiful and compelling book about doing good: Tattoos on the Heart, by Father Greg Boyle, who has worked with gang members in L.A. for the past 20 years, and started Homeboy Industries. Inspiring man who has led an incredible life.

        "Tattoos on the Heart" by Fr. Gregory Boyle. About his organization Homeboy Industries that provides jobs for men and woman trying to escape the gang life in Los Angeles. Have your tissues handy!
